The calendar you see in the left is a free php calendar. Isn't a normal US calendar because it's in ISO format.
What's the difference? It differs for just one thing, the week starts on Monday instead of Sunday, common
structure in Europe. This format comply to the ISO 8601 definition, so Monday is the day number 1 and Sunday
is the day number 7 of the week. Therein, the same 8601 ISO definition says that the week nr. 1 of the year is the week
that contains the first Thursday of that year. For more detailed information about ISO 8601 definitions

Attention, since that's a fully php calendar, it gets the data from the server on which it resides!
The calendar is fully customizable for your graphics needs. By setting a series of variables, situated at
the begining of the script, you can sizing and colouring it to give the calendar the dimensions and colors
you like, so it can fit in every site. The calendar is completely free and you can download it, in the
compressor format file you like, by clicking to the link situated above the calendar.
The new version 2.0 release added multilanguage text capability (English, Italian, German, French and Spanish).
And, if your language is not among those supported, you can easily adding it in the existent multidimensional arrays.
